The Most Dangerous Woman in America

Legal Socialized Terrorism runs amuck in our House of Representatives

September overview:

Let's see, the Speaker of the House returns from a much needed five week vacation, rams through an energy legislation bill that does nothing to promote energy independence from foreign countrys or provide hundreds of thousands of American jobs-----then on BLACK MONDAY (Sept 29th, 2008) she manages to cost this nations real market value over a TRILLION DOLLARS by playing political games when she march's around the floor of the House telling her Democrat drones to vote NO on legislation that will rescue our financial institutions. (Pelosi's pre-vote speech didn't help much either) In a span of just over two weeks this woman has done more economic damage to this nation than Osama Bin Laden could have accomplished in his lifetime. This is the "new direction" congress this nation voted into power in 2006.

"We believe Democrats will have control of the House and look forward to working with Democratic leaders on the issues that remain foremost on the agenda, including winning the war in Iraq and the broader war on terror and keeping the economy on a growth path," said Tony Snow, the White House spokesman.

Ms. Pelosi told an enthusiastic crowd in Washington that her resurgent majority was prepared to work with Republicans "in partnership and not in partisanship," hoping to break the gridlock of what could be a divided Congress. Link

Tony Snow, God rest his soul, couldn't have been more wrong on his prediction of the Democrats agenda.

"The American people voted to restore integrity and honesty in Washington, D.C., and the Democrats intend to lead the most honest, most open and most ethical Congress in history," Pelosi said.

Are Jefferson's freezer deposits still safe Nancy?

On July 16, 2008, Gallop reported that Congress had lowest approval rating in Gallops history at 14%. With the performance of Nancy Pelosi and the House over the month of September, these numbers are sure to get into single digits.

Exit question: Can this country afford a to have Nancy Pelosi or this "new direction" Congress in charge of our affairs for two more years?

Update: Ed Morrissey at Hot Air is noting the Democrats are looking for cover in the financial crisis.

Update 2: Mike at Flopping Aces also has a great post up on how Democrats put politics ahead of national interest.
