Read my lips: "As a democrat, I promise to raise your taxes to slow down this run-away economic boom that George W. Bush and the Republican party have created. All this extra money belongs in government coffers and not in your pocket. As a democrat, I pledge to take this money out of your pocket and give it to the needy as I see fit. You have no right to this money. This money is not yours to keep, save, or spend. This nonsense of you having too much money in your pocket has to STOP."
