SAN FRANCISCO -- There's nothing like a shaving-cream pie in the face to make a guy feel like part of a team.Giants rookie first baseman Travis Ishikawa took it in good spirits as fellow freshman Kevin Frandsen and catcher Todd Greene mashed the pie in the kisser during a postgame TV interview Friday night, for he knew it was more than rookie hazing.
It meant he did something good.
The 22-year-old Ishikawa was called up Thursday to replace injured starter Lance Niekro and was surprised to find himself in the starting lineup, but he celebrated by going 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in San Francisco's 9-0 rout of Colorado at AT&T Park.
